"The Fishing Weather Project" is a program in which at risk urban male 6th through 8th graders from Kalamazoo, Michigan's Milwood Magnet School are being given the opportunity to discover the world of meteorology and how it effects fishing.
Originating as a  project funded by a grant from the Kalamazoo Community Foundation, it has truly turned into a community collaborative effort.  It is our hope that through this opportunity, these young men will see an expanded world, not just what is happening on their block.  We will attempt to instill coping skill, personal and community responsibility through personal role model and mentoring.

Chris is a future storm chaser and student at Comstock

High ( I like to think of him as a "Weather Genius").

Paul is just a guy who likes to fish.
